My name is Ashley McIlroy, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I am from St. Louis, Missouri,USA. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

I’ve always had a strong passion for working with children and watching them accomplish their goals. Teaching has allowed me to help young learners develop mentally and emotionally which I have found so rewarding. I have worked with children 6 weeks old to 10 years old and I have loved each age group. In the classroom, I believe it is important to build a community and get to know each student. This will allow me to better understand their learning styles and provide what is necessary for each student to succeed. I will guide my teaching by the students’ interest to encourage engagement and maximum learning.

I cannot wait to take on the adventures Taiwan has in store. I love to read, explore new places, and try new foods! I look forward to being able to go to the mountains as well as the ocean all within a short distance. There are so many different foods on my list to try! I am most excited about getting to know each student in my classroom and having an amazing year.
