Mary-Kate Adams

Qualification:

University of Missouri  –  Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education

– minor in Human Development and Family Science

My name is Mary-Kate Adams. I am from Dallas, Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Missouri this May.

My passion is teaching young children. The foundation of my beliefs is that children are capable. Given appropriate time and tools which allow children’s innate desires to lead conversations, lessons, and units; children are mathematicians, scientists, engineers, authors, artists, and change makers. I strive to instill confidence in all of my students. Confidence that they are each of these things. As an educator my job is to teach students, and the best way to teach children is to take time to learn about each of them. This way I can create engaging and authentic lessons.

I am excited to teach and live Taiwan. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures and foods. I am very excited to teach your children and learn about daily life in Taiwan.
