Spring Market Day was a great success! 🎉
This year’s spring fair was filled with joy and energy—
welcome to **Cornel Zootopia 🐾**!
Students prepared their own products and enthusiastically promoted them,
learning teamwork, communication, and basic business skills along the way.
Their creativity and energy truly shined!
✨ This year, each class proudly presented their own handmade treats—
🥪 **Upper Kindergarten | Nutritious Sandwiches**
Students carefully prepared ingredients and assembled delicious, healthy sandwiches,
showcasing strong teamwork and responsibility.
🍦 **Middle Kindergarten | Cream Puff Cones**
With creativity and imagination, students transformed sweet cream puffs into eye-catching cones
that delighted both the eyes and taste buds!
🍓 **Lower Kindergarten | Fruit Tanghulu**
Students carefully skewered fruits to create colorful tanghulu,
experiencing the joy of hands-on learning and a sense of accomplishment.
🔥 The elementary division booths were also a huge hit—
from a **DIY Human Slot Machine** to a **Shrinky Art Booth**,
their creativity and interactive designs kept the crowd coming non-stop!!!
In addition, we had a special guest—✨ **Teacher Abu** ✨—
who energized the crowd and brought excitement to the entire event!
A big thank you to all teachers, parents, and our amazing young entrepreneurs
for making this day so special and unforgettable 💛
So, why does Cornel host Market Day? 🤔
Market Day originates from American culture,
simulating real-life buying and selling experiences.
It allows children to explore the concept of “self-sufficiency” from a young age.
Through preparing products, setting prices, and selling to customers,
students develop responsibility, problem-solving skills,
and a foundational understanding of business and money management.
Through this hands-on learning experience,
our students are growing into thoughtful and proactive young entrepreneurs ✨
Let’s look forward to Market Day 2027! 🌟
