Explore the World × Experience Life × Express Yourself
With language, hands-on projects, and imagination, our students are building a future that’s uniquely their own!
In the fourth week of Cornel Summer Camp, we continued to deliver rich, diverse, and experiential learning. Each day was filled with excitement, growth, and creativity as students learned through doing and discovered their strengths along the way.
🩺 Junior Vet Program: Mission Complete!
This week’s veterinary class moved into advanced topics as students learned fundamental animal care and first-aid techniques. They explored how to respond to different animal injuries and conditions.
From initial curiosity to confidently simulating real-life scenarios, each child took a big step forward on their journey to becoming a “Junior Vet.”
Over the past weeks, they not only gained knowledge about animals, but also developed empathy and a deeper respect for life.
🎨 Artistic Creations: Discovering Beauty in Everyday Life
In our art classes, students used colorful glass beads to create their own mosaic vases, followed by a floral design session where they selected and arranged flowers by hand.
Each creation was unique and full of personal expression. Through this process, the children learned to see beauty, create beauty, and find joy in making something truly their own.
🌍 Earth Explorers: Unearthing the Stories of Rocks and Fossils
This week’s Earth Exploration lessons introduced students to geology, tracing the Earth’s history from the age of dinosaurs to the formation of fossils.
They observed various rock and crystal formations up close and embraced the scientific spirit of “bold hypotheses, careful verification.”
It was a week of observation, discussion, and discovery—a deep dive into Earth’s ancient secrets!
🏝 English Project: Desert Island Survival Challenge
In our immersive English class, students faced a thrilling challenge—Survive on a Desert Island!
They studied different landforms around the world and imagined how to live on an uninhabited island. Working in teams, they designed their own islands complete with shelters, animals, land features, and survival strategies.
Each team wrote a detailed project proposal, kept a survival journal, and gave a final presentation to showcase their ideas.
This realistic and creative project not only improved students’ English skills, but also empowered them to express their ideas through language and bring their imagination to life through hands-on work.
We’re proud to see them grow not only in language, but also in creativity, confidence, and global thinking!
🎯 Field Trip: Adventure at 6D Space
This week’s field trip took us to the fun-filled 6D Space! Students and teachers teamed up to play laser tag and mini golf.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, energy, and excitement. Beyond just physical activity, it was also a valuable chance to practice teamwork and emotional regulation in a playful setting.
🎉
This week, our students took learning from knowledge to application. Whether through language, art, science, or exploration, they discovered more about themselves and the world around them.
Cornerstone Summer Camp continues to support every child’s journey through exciting, meaningful experiences.
We can’t wait to see what next year holds—see you at our next great adventure!
