Hi! My name is Jake Paszko and I am from the Chicago suburbs.  I recently graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education. While in college, I taught grades first through fifth. This was a very enjoyable experience and I can’t wait to get started at Cornel.

As an educator, I enjoy making learning fun and interactive for my students.  Some of the ways I do this include incorporating educational games into the classroom and using project-based learning. This allows students to collaborate and learn through inquiry. I am a very active person and I plan on bringing the same energy into the classroom everyday.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching and playing all kinds of sports. I am a big Chicago sports fan! Some of my other hobbies include photography and hiking. I cannot wait to see the beautiful island of Taiwan for myself.
